Todo el mundo es un genio – Everybody is a genius
Hace unos días un cliente me decía sobre alguien de su equipo: «He llegado a la conclusión de que no puedo hacer de él un líder. No tiene experiencia llevando equipos, pero además no le gusta, no le motiva… Creo que es muy bueno en otras tareas». Mi cliente se estaba frustrando y afortunadamente se dio cuenta de que le estaba juzgando equivocadamente.
Einstein decía: «Todo el mundo es un genio. Pero si juzgas a un pez por su habilidad para escalar un árbol, creerá toda su vida que es un estúpido».
A few days ago a client said to me about one of his team members: «I have come to the conclusion that I can’t make a leader of him. He has no experience in leading teams, on top of that he doesn’t like it, he is not motivated by it… I think he is very good at other tasks». My client was getting frustrated and luckily he realised he was judging him wrongly.
Einstein said: «Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid».
